Legion supports PSP

In a brief ceremony April 30, the Royal Canadian Legion Dominion President Allan Parks presented cheques totalling $75 000 to Executive Vice-President Personnel Support Programs, Greg Pearson of the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA).

The cheques represent the Legion's ongoing support for Show Tours, the CF Sports Awards ceremony and CF National Sports championships. In addition the Legion also donates items to Operation SANTA CLAUS, the delivery of Christmas presents to CF members away from home during the holiday season.

Over the past four years, Legion members donated more than $310 000 to assist in ongoing morale and welfare programs benefiting CF members at home and abroad. The Legion approves the funds during their biennial Conventions.
