WHERE - The Hylands Golf Club in Ottawa

WHY -

  • Develop a long-term program to improve the effectiveness of the golf club operations
  • To offer an initial two day education opportunity for military golf club managers

OBJECTIVES

  • To provide management tools in the area of business planning marketing and hospitality
  • To provide clubs with new revenue and sponsorship opportunities
  • To document a set of "best practices" for the golf industry (inside & outside the military)
  • To provide an opportunity for golf club managers to review trends and share ideas
  • To partner with organizations within the industry - i.e. National Golf Course Owners Association
