During the course of the summer, we will be publishing our Non-Public Property (NPP) Annual Report for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  This year’s report will be different from previous years.  We have created a colourful poster that will be distributed through Maple Leaf and Canadian Forces Newspapers.


CDCB Special Mortgage Offer in NCR Supports 2010 Army Run

Spectators gathered June 8 on the concourse at National Defence Headquarters as the Canadian Defence Community Banking (CDCB) program launched a special mortgage offer specific to the National Capital Region (NCR).


Personal Best for Many at the CF National Running Championship

Cool temperatures helped propel many participants to run their personal best at the Canadian Forces (CF) National Running Championship on May 29-30.  Held each year in conjunction with the Ottawa Race Weekend, over 100 CF athletes from various bases across Canada joined over 38,000 participants to compete in four race distances (5 km, 10 km, half and full marathons).


Cheer Station Win Includes Donation to MFF & Soldier On

The CF Cheering Station was one of 9 groups competing to be the best.  "It is with great excitement that I announce that we placed 2nd overall in the cheering booth contest," says Mike Doucet, National Sports Manager, PSP Division.  This 2nd place win comes with a $1,500 donation to the Military Families Fund and Soldier On programs.

19th World Military Taekwondo Championship

The International Military Sports Council (CISM) Canada office will host the 19th World Military Taekwondo Championship in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec from 14-21 July 2010.


CDCB/BMO Volunteer at Red Shirt Walk/Run Event

It was a sea of red at Confederation Park in Ottawa on June 4 as over 3,000 Canadian Forces (CF) members and civilian employees of the Department of National Defence (DND) and their families participated in the fourth annual Red Shirt Walk/Run.   The event was hosted by the Canadian Forces Support Unit Ottawa as part of Canadian Forces Day celebrations.
