NPP Accessible via Community Gateway

The Canadian Forces (CF) Community Gateway is now live nationally (effective June 30).

The Community Gateway concept was initiated by Director General Personnel and Family Support Services to address the need for a consistent non-public property (NPP) Web presence across all CF bases and wings. It offers one-stop access to information related to local activities, schedules, family services, employment, health, recreation, messes, clubs and more. It is a series of linked Web sites (one for every base and wing) that have a common look, feel and structure that provides a standard view of all base/wing NPP programs and activities, including publicly-funded programs delivered through NPP.

Personnel on bases and wings have been working hard to complete Gateway pages that provide key information about local services and programs available to military personnel and their families.

The CF Community Gateway will be easy to navigate and should become an invaluable information tool.  Many Bases’ and Wings’ Community Gateway sites are already up and running. Visit www.CFCommunityGateway.ca.
